Seeking Executive Director The Fort Peck Fine Arts Council is seeking a part-time Executive Director. The Executive Director assists the President of the Board, Committee Chairs and Artistic Director in conducting the business of the Council and Summer Theatre. Candidates must possess computer skills with competent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Quickbooks preferred. A background in grant writing and fund raising/donor appeals a definite plus. As this is an arts organization, an interested in the performing arts and education though the arts would be beneficial. Shows for Summer 2010 The 2010 season will open on May 28th and run through September 5th. A total of 5 shows will play for 3 consecutive weekends each on Friday and Saturdays at 8 pm and Sundays at 4 pm. Our first play, opening May 28th will be Forever Plaid, followed by Annie, The Will Rogers Follies, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Run For Your Wife. Dam Cabaret This season we have decided to try something new. In July the 2010 Fort Peck Theatre Company will present the Dam Cabaret in an attempt to entertain and to gather useful information from our audience members. The show will be free to the public with only one performance on July 21, 2010 at 8 p.m.

  • Council meetings The Fort Peck Fine Arts Council, Inc. meets on the 3rd Monday of every month with the exception of December and February. There is no meeting in December and the annual meeting is held in February at a time and place scheduled at the October meeting. September through May (except Dec. and Feb.)the meetings are at the FMDH conference room at 5:30 p.m. June through August the meetings are in Fort Peck at the Theatre at 5:30 p.m.

    New Sound System

    The 2004 season marked an incredible new addition to the Fort Peck Theatre. A state-of-the-art sound system has been installed to make your evening at the theatre truly enjoyable.

    The system is a $63,000 investment for the Fort Peck Fine Arts Council and was funded primarily by our "Seat for Life" program.
